I need to find out how to change the format of my invoice form to match the generic text print driver. Just upgraded to Classic from PCA v10. Had to change print driver from Panasonic KXP 1180 (correct) to Generic Text in order to solve very slow printing. Now the form length is incorrect. IDEAS PLEASE? Boss wants to buy a new printer, but there should be an easy fix.

If you goto the config option F5 on the initial screen when you start Peachtree you can change configuration types.

Select configuration type (use your default)
P - Maintain Printer Setup
Enter the printer number 1 through 4.
On the Print window that pops up, select your printer.
Set the printer type S (single sheet) or C (continuos form)
F10 to save and return to menu.

Then in Invoicing/Order Entry you'll need to
M - Maintenance Programs
O - Maintain Invoicing/OE Options
P - Set Printer Assignments
Set your invoices and other reports to print to the printer number you selected above.
Accept you changes and you should be good to go.

Try printing some old invoices just to test it before you start using it to make sure your problems are solved.


Windows printer driver for that printer should be able to solve your problems.
