Please help.

We already use Best Software's FAS software. The way it was set up previously is a mess so we were going to just move the information to PT. I went to open my old software and I am now getting an error and then Windows shuts down the program.

Is it possible (I am sure it is) that when FAS for PT was installed that it made our other version of FAS to not function?

If I am right what can I do, besides get more frustrated with the upgrade to 2004.

This is the error message:

fas.exe has generated errors and will be shutdown by windows. You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created.

I get this error everytime I try to open the program. I have even tried it right after I restarted my computer and I get the same message.

Yes we are. The program is on the network and on each of the PC's using PT.

You will need to reboot the server as well.

Sounds like a FAS install issue call FAS/Peachtree tech support. I think they give free support on install issues.
