Locking help

When we try to post or backup peachtree Complete 2003 creates alot of lock files in the company folder under peachw folder. I can stop the process, delete the files and from there create invoices, but when we try again to post or back up it locks.

I have 3 boxes tied into 1 data file. 2 acting as a cash register and 1 is for billing and recieving. We try to make sure that no billing or posting or backing up is done while the other 2 are being used.

Any suggestiopns would be helpful

Sounds like a workstation is not releasing files properly. If you have the data on a win2000 or XP box, then check to see which workstation still has the files open. You may need to update/replace the nic driver or nic on that station. Peachtree works best if all NICs are the same brand.
