How do you delete a company?

I am testing data with the fixed assets portion and would like to delete a couple companies that were set-up.

How do I do this?

It's a matter of deleting a folder, but first you need to determine the folder name. Open the company you want to delete, then click on Help, File Statistics. At the top of the open dialog box it will say "Data File Statistics for xxxxx", where the xxxxx is your folder name. Write it down and close out of PT.

Open the Windows Explorer window, locate and open the folder where your PT data is kept. If you are working on a stand alone, it's usually C:\peachw. If you're on a network it might be something like F:\peachw. In that folder you should see a folder with the name you wrote down earlier (xxxxx). Delete that folder (xxxxx) - nothing else - and that company will be deleted.
