My Internet Explorer 5.5 Rel 2 works fine.
My Peachtree Complete Accounting ver 8.0 however says 'PT cannot connect to the Internet' Tried a complete uninstall of PT, cleaned out the registry of any PT listings. Reinstalled PT. Still same error.
Tried to downgrade IE to 5.0, it connects fine, Uninstalled PT completely and reinstalled, Still same error message "PT cannot connect to the Internet' I am on a lan network, with a proxy, but i don't have to log in a username and password for the proxy.
According to all the documentation of PT, I have everything set correctly. Just wondering if PT sends something in the registry, or somewhere else, that doesn't get deleted on uninstalls.
What else can i look into to correct this problem?
