when we create an excel GL report and open the file in excel, the date "dec 29 2003" appears as "3/12/2029".

when the report is created on another pc we dont have this problem.

what is wrong?

Check the Date tab under the Regional Options choice in the Windows Control Panel. It appears to me that you have this set to a European date format.
