Internet Connection

When I open Complete 2004 it connects to the internet. If I cancel the internet connection it reconnects minutes later and again and again each time I cancel the connection. I have set the Internet Connection Setup to "The computer is not connected to the internet" and I have unchecked the "Connect to the Internet automatically" under General Preferences. Why is it still trying to connect to the internet and how do I turn it off?

Let it connect and then choose Services, Check for Updates and get the updates. There should be at least one. Download it and follow the instructions for it :-)
