System error # 106

Pca Dos Version 11.
I want to transfer my data files to Peachtre Complete Acounting for Windows 2002.
When I run convert.exe from C:\pca\pca2paw the program start proccesing files, but when it reach Inventory I receive a message
"System error #106".
I was looking in my User Guide Book but there is not information about this error.
Please ! Help me.

This error occurs when the conversion process encounters a corrupted item in the PCA Inventory Master File.

You can usually continue by pressing the Enter Key after each error message.

After the PCA files are exported, you will need to delete the corrupted record. This process is too lengthy and difficult to explain in this forum.

I had an authorized Peachtree support person convert my DOS version 11 data files to Peachtree for windows 8.02 (using PawCom). Just be aware that it does not convert all of the data. I spent hours afterward going through each Vendor, Customer, Inventory and Employee file, correcting data that did not end up in the right box. Plus you still have to enter in all your beginning balances. Given the money I spent for the transfer, I think I could have done it just as quickly manually, but of course this depends how large your company is and how many employees, customers, etc. that you have to convert, especially if you use Inventory.
