Frustrated with Classic, 2000, what is Complete like?

I have over powered Classic and contemplated upgrading to 2000. I have learned that Peachtree and Sage plan to phase out 2000 over the next 3 years.

Is Complete the solution for me, or is it time to jump ship to another accounting package? Our company does 750,000+ in sales a year and we have close to if not more than 4000 inventory sku's. Because of this the inventory figure in the GL is quite different than the Inventory Module figure. I also have problems with balances in AR. Basically, I've been told that I have overpowered Classic.

Is Complete more powerful than Classic?

Is it more reliable?

Any input would be appreciated.

Because of the size of your inventory (4000 items) I would not recommend Peachtree Complete Accounting for Windows. The breaking point for Complete is about 3000 items if you issue approx. 1000 transactions per month.

You may want to consider BusinessWorks Gold, another Sage product. It can hold 100,000 inventory items with 1000 open invoices per customer.
