Missing One W2 Out Of Group

PEACHTREE IS NOT BRINGING UP ONE EMPLOYEE'S W2 WHEN I PREVIEW THE GROUP, NOT INCLUDING IT IN THE COMPANY TOTAL.

BUT IS INCLUDING THAT W2 TOTAL IN THE 940 AND W3.

I CAN BRING UP THAT EMPLOYEE'S W2 SEPARATELY, BUT I WANT TO BE ABLE TO DO IT CORRECTLY BY DOING IT WITH THE GROUP

I am not sure why but it really won't matter if it didn't group with the others. I have to run seperate ones on employees as our corp. has two state employees. Just as long as you have your totals on the 940 and the W-3 I wouldn't panic. Just pop that one in the group and void the bottom part that goes to SS.

Bradsko - check each employee's Social Security number. If there are two employees with the same SSN, that will throw the W2s off. You may have an inactive EE and an active EE (name change maybe) that have the same SSN. If so, change the inactive EE's SSN to 000-00-0000.

You solved my problem! Thank you so much! It has been driving me out of mind on what could cause that to happen. We do have one employee who married and changed her name, when I did as you suggested it worked.
