I read a posting in another forum also. We are using PT Complete 2000 - yes dark ages. But in November we had a check for 95.00 print out Ninety-four dollars. And it happen to another check in December. Any ideas why? We have two companies, two computer both using Brother Laser Printers. I haven't had the problem with my system its our larger company with 90 employees. Personally I think its clich.

pt 2000 is an unrelated product. Is that what you have? go to that forum and indicate your batch also. there was arounding problem if i remember correctly. again, you have to verify your version and put it in that forum if necessary

Jim,
Yes the check amount was for 95.00 which was printed on the check. And it printed out Nintey-Four dollars and 00/100.
I found this one in our December 03 bank statement the bank only paid the 94.00 as it was written out. We had another on the last payroll Dec 31, 03 but the employee caught it and proved to the bank that she was due the extra dollar. On that check I went back and reprinted it on paper and it printed correctly.
I can't remember that amount on that check. But since I reconciled the payroll account yesterday I remember the one I first mentioned. Any ideas? These are the only 2 checks that this has happened to since installation of the software in 1999.
I have a thought, could closing out the 2002 do this. I didn't purge any information at this point. I just closed 2002.

Yeah I'll look. Was it 00/100 or 100/100? 100/100 was an error that was corrected. I'll get back to you.
