View Full Version : Complete Accounting 8 and Office XP

I just installed Windows XP Professional and Complete Accting 8.0, all seems to work well. My problem is I installed Office XP and PCA 8 does not know (recognize) Excel (from Offcie XP) is loaded, so I can't just run a report and click on the "EXCEL" icon to export the report to Excel. This is a function we use alot and I need this to work!!
Is there a way to get this working??

We ran into the same problem, we were advised that the only fix was to upgrade to Peachtree 2002. I hope this helps.

I have Office XP and Peachtree 8.02 and I have successfully fixed the Excel button problem. There is a registry hack available but it has been a couple of months since I did it and don't remember how. Searching the archives on this board should locate the original postings.
