I am using Peachtree Classic Accounting 13. I installed this on my Windows NT Server 4 SP6. I also have workstations running Windows 98SE that access peachtree from the server. I have a 10/100Mbps network environment. My configuration here are as follows...
Win98SE
Config.sys
FILES=250
BUFFERS=30
Autoexec.bat
SET OVERLAY_HEAP=1
SET PC3ID=CO
I also "Disabled write-behind caching for all drives" in File System properties.
Do I need additional settings for my workstations as well as my server in order for peachtree to run smoothly in my network environment? I also have Norton Anti-Virus installed. Do I need to exclude the peachtree data files/folders from being scanned? I would greatly appreciate any recommendations to optimize peachtree 13.
