View Full Version : create cash account warning

I use this account on a cash basis, I have done something wrong and dont know how to correct it! When I choose to write a check a message box comes up that I need to create a cash account, but I already have a cash account and I can add deposits to it but I just can't write checks. I have tried everything! I am sure it is something little I am forgetting to do since it has always worked this way. Can anyone help?

Choose Maintain, Chart of Accounts, select your cash account, and then set the account type to Cash.

I had already tried that and their is nothing happening, I am almost to the point that it is in the program and not in something I had done.
