Does anyone have Peachtree Complete 2002 Value Pack that they would be willing to sell?

I upgraded from ver. 7 to the non-value pack version and now I have serial number conflicts under Terminal Services.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Two options to consider are to check eBay or consider upgrading to Peachtree 2004.

I appreciate the advise David, but ebay's got nothin' and Peachtree 2004 will not work under Terminal Services.

Well, the official stance from Peachtree is that it won't work, but I have two clients running Peachtree 2004 on Terminal Server without issue.

Really. Are they able to run multiple users simultaniously?

Unfortunately, I'm not sure. I know that one at a time access definitely works. You could always buy a copy of 2004 and use the money back guaranteee period (30 days? 60 days?) to get your money back if it doesn't work, or download a trial version from their web site.

Just a note to those who maintain larger inventories. According to Best, there is a glitch in the Invoicing/Quote module the will cause the Smart Data Entry to fail if your inventory is too large.

A patch is in the works...

Hey David -

All I know is it works fine with 5000 inventory items, but fails with our 124,000. Peachtree says they're on top of it!

We'll see...

So I am curious. Did you get your ppa2004 working or are you still looking for 2002? Are you able to use p'tree with 124,000 items?

Yes, I did get "everything" working just as I'd hoped. But the Smart Data Entry feature is still not functioning due to the inventory size.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next service pack...
