changing accounting period

I just tried to change the accounting period from 18 to 19. Peachtree gave me a warning:

Warning. Period changed to 20 due to unposted journal entries there.

But it didn't change to 20! It is still 18! And we are in real-time mode, NOT batch mode, so I don't know whey there would be unposted journal entries. Help!!

This is a very common error in Peachtree that's easily resolved. Unpost all journals, then repost. More specific details are available in the archives of this forum or here (http://www.acctadv.com/go.mv?id=unposted).
