I'm new to this office, and am wondering if there are any updates to "Complete Accounting" version 8 I should obtain, before I upgrade to the 2002 version?

You don't specify which version you're upgrading from, but it really doesn't matter. You can go to V2002 from the prior versions without the V8 upgrades, but make sure if you're using Peachtree COMPLETE in the prior version you get Peachtree Complete in the new version as well. You cannot go from Peachtree Complete to Peachtree Accounting. (Hope this made some sense)
