Have received the following message when opening company file:

I/O ERROR IN FILE \PEACHW\..\EVENTLOG.DAT

Any suggestions on correcting problem. (Our 2 backup files have same message)

Look at the response for I/O error in sortjob.dat. You do the same thing to fix the problem.

Delete the file and peachtree will rebuild the file next time you start the company.
