I'm using Peachtree premium accounting 2004 on a client based server system using Windows 2003 server & Windows XP pro on the client desktops. I've encountered Lock table full errors & data corruption. Would like to know if this is a software or server issue & how to correct problem.

YOU PROBABLY need to search this forum. I know that you usually have to set up files in config.nt, but I'm not that familiar with the other setups. I know that there are many posts in this forum

Check your hub/switch and see if it is real warm. You may also want to uninstall the NIC drivers and reinstall them.

Hi, getting information from all of the post concerning the "lock table full" error, this was the only thing that worked for me...


Running Peachtree Complete Accounting 2002 (multiuser)
Windows XP Professional

1. Go to task manager (ctrl+alt+del)
2. Go to the processes tab
3. Look for W32MKDE and end the task on that

After deleting this process, Peachtree loaded with no other errors.

I also had to confirm that my networked drive was functioning properly.
