View Full Version : My progarm will not change the accounting period from the past to the current period

RIA Please replie me at mark770200@yahoo.com The progarm is telling me is it due to unposted journal enteries in the second accounting period.Due that I have to manually change from period to period. So I cannot change it form the menu bar, task, systems, change accounting period. It is not changing. It keeps telling me the above message.

It's a very common error message.

Go to Maintain, Company Information and change your posting method to Batch Posting.

Go to Tasks, System, Post and choose to Post all journals.

Go back to Maintain, Company Information and change your posting method back to Real Time.

You should now be able to change your accounting period without the error message.
