I'm new to the world of peachtree and I'm trying to set up payroll based on a commision that the therapist rec.

And I'm sorry to say that I am completely lost as to how to do this.

They make 65% commission off each session.

I'm also attempting to set up a disc. line on the sales invoice to account for product discounts. Any suggestions how to go about that??

Please help.

thank you

You don't have that kind of option in Payroll. Probably you're stuck with making the sessions "inventory items" that have commissions and a report that you send to excel. then compute commissions. then enter the dollar amt in payroll

Or create a crystal report that computes commissions.

If you want to create a disc. line, you might want to use non-stock inventory so you don't have to retype it each time

Thanks alot.

How do I send the information to excel? And also how can I code the discounts in inventory to go to the purchase discount gl code??

you need to have excel loaded on your system. then in reports you can click on the excel button and it will create your report in excel. you would run the sales rep report which would show commissioned sales

Set-up the inventory item as non-stock, and setup the sales acct as the purchase disc acct

Hopefully my last question for a while.

When I enter my sales/invoicing it will not auto put in the sales tax. What have I done wrong??

Your customers must have a valid tax code as part of there account record. The inventory items must be setup as taxable. No doubt its related to one of those two.
