Sale order report

I am using Peachtree Account 2004 in Windows 2000 singer user version. I have entered a few sale orders. I would like to make a sale order report using the standard report. I got nothing. I change the period and occasionnally, I got the message "Cannot create report. Please close some reports and try again". I did not have any report open. Please help. Thanks.

First thing to try is to choose Services, and then Check for Updates. Ensure that you've installed the patches for Peachtree 2004.
