Scanned signature

I do payroll for a client and he has authorized me to use a rubber stamp with his signature on it so he does not have to always come to me to sign payroll checks. I then mail the checks to employees. Being the type to often think out of the box I was wondering if there is a way I could take his scanned signature and place it in the payroll check template on the signature line. I already am familiar with modifying the check report template and I have means to scan the signature.
