The company file will open ok.
However when we click on the Tasks menu and go to an item (eg: Receipts) the screen flashes but nothing is displayed, not even a window.
We do the same for our other company and it all works.

If you open the sample company, does the same thing happen? If so, completely uninstall the PT application and then reinstall.
