Peachtree data limitations

I am a software consultant.
Does Peachtree have transaction limitations like it used to? Also is there a limit as to how many customers and invoices etc that Peachtree can effectively handle?
Any other limitations? Number of users?

i have a client who has about 500 customers where each customer has on average 5 invoices per month. they are already in the third year with peachtree - meaning they have gone through 1 year end process.

there were some initial problems, but these were solved when we did some housekeeping / cleaning of the network to improve network performance.

user access is limited to 5 concurrent users.
