View Full Version : Need HELP! PawCom
Hi all,
I am new to the Microsoft Technology and any help would be much appreciated.
I am trying to integrate the customer contact information from Microsoft Outlook with PCAW 2002. I wanted to find out if using PawCom will serve my purpose? Or if there is any other interface I can use?

Certainly pawcom is very powerful. But, there's a more direct way, that's to export the contact list to a CSV file. Then, in Peachtree you can directly import this CSV file into the customer list.
We have an existing ACCESS application and we would like to move to Peachtree. Is there a way to export ACCESS data and import it into Peachtree?

You can export Access data as CSV text (delimited). Note that this is a native format for MS Excel, which you can use for edits.

If you want to do a one-time move of data from Outlook to Peachtree, a CSV file certainly would do the trick. But if you want Peachtree to be updated every time you add or edit contact data in Outlook, then writing a bit of VBA code in Outlook that calls PawCom will certainly allow you to do that.
