The default date is the first date of the period. Each time I create an estimate or an invoice I have to remember to change the date to current date. Is there a way to have the default date the current date? Thanks in advance:

Actually, if you change the period so that it includes todays date, it will use the current date. If you are in any period that does not include today's date, then it will default to the first day of the month for that period.

Hey Thanks :)

I do as much as I can here to help my friends; however, office work stretches my limits somewhat. I knew there had to be a simple way to accomplish such a task but didn't have time to read the manual. Some days I hardly have time to finish a cup of coffee or lunch. I had to research how to change the period but once changed it worked as you said it would. In the past few months I've printed many invoices without current date and had to do it over but now with your help that won't happen anymore. Thanks
