I recently upgraded Peachtree Complete from Version 8 to 2004. After the upgrade, I am missing some reports. Some of my custom reports transferred while others did not. In GL, only 1 of my custom reports transferred and there are no other reports listed. In AR, some of my custom reports transferred but not all. When I try to go into one of the standard reports to customize I can't even get into the design screen. Also, the first few characters of some of the report names are missing?! After upgrading to 2004, peachtree popped up an update download screen. I downloaded the update, but when it went to install I got an error 36 message. I went to the error file to read the error
and it said the C:\peachw\data\rptdataI.dat wasn't found. It said that the old file was not found but a file of the same name was found. It said the update was not done because the file contents didn't match. I don't know if these 2 problems are related but I suspect they are since they both involve reports. If I have to reinstall, will I lose my data? Also, I have my custom reports in Version 8 format on another computer. Can I copy them onto the computer with 2004- will it update them to 2004 format? Any help you have would be greatly appreciated!!!
