Hi,

I received Peachtree Accounting 2004 as a gift and am trying to set up a payroll for my nursing assistants (I am physically disabled.). Could someone steer me in the correct direction to get started, please? I'd appreciate any assistance you might offer.

Currently, I save on a Word document this information:

Employee Name
Address
Phone #
SS#
Hours Worked (pay period is Sunday-Saturday 2 weeks)
Tax Exemptions = 0
Gross Wages:
Social Security (FICA) 6.2% =
Medicare: 1.45% =
Net Pay
Check #

The best way to do this is to spend time with the sample company that ships with Peachtree. You can see how they set up payroll and do something similar.
