Two Problems

1)
I have to enter 3 different quotes to the same person, but the data is the same. (all the same items, only slightly modified) My
question is:

Is there anyway to copy a quote so you don't have to retype anything?

2) I am working in a server to client network, and the server today has shut down three times. Each coming up with the error message: "peachw caused a gerneral protection fault in module mmsystem.dll at 0001:00000db3" does anyone know what this means?

What's the server OS you're using? What's the hardware configuration of your network? ...

Please give more information.

We are using Windows 98 and have PCA 2002. What do you mean by hardware configuration?

First of all, by server OS, I mean as you said you're "...working in a server to client network..." then what is the server OS ( like Windows NT Server, Windows 2000 server, etc. ) and also the service pack version using.

Do you mean Windows 98 gives the error? Or, the server gives the error?

Hardware configuration of computer means the processor type, RAM, etc. And hardware config. of network means how your network is collected together. Is it a peer-to-peer network or you've a server? What's the network card you're using, etc...

Since there're so many external factors that can affect, I'm trying to limit the scope of possible causes. The more information you give, the more accurate will be the diagnosis, you know.

As far as the quote issue is concerned, create the quote once, then memorize it. You can then pull it up like a new quote and change the customer information. Depending on which version of PT you're using, the memorize transaction is either on the Edit menu or if PT2002, on the toolbar, under the Save button.
