Upgrade version 3.5 to ?

I'm trying to help a friend upgrade from Peachtree Accounting V.3.5 batch 04 to "whatever the current version might be".

I don't know much about the product line, so I'm looking for advice as to direction, and which product to use or avoid.

Depending on how old this version is, can it be directly upgraded to the current versions?

They are currently running this for a small business with only two workstations accessing the system .Any advice good or bad would be appreciated.

It should work. When you upgrade Peachtree it does the conversion a step at a time. I.e., it converts 3.5 data to 4.0, then converts 4.0 to 5.0, then to 7.0, 8.0, and finally 9.0.

If you encounter any problems doing the conversion, you can probably find someone in this forum who could help by converting your data into an intermediate version first.

Peachtree is calling the latest version Peachtree 2002 just to totally confuse us, but it is actually version 9.
