View Full Version : Peachtree Crashing after upgrade

I have just upgraded a client from v6.0 to 2002 and put the data onto a win2k network server.
Now when they try to use Peachtree in win98 Peachtree keeps crashing.
Any ideas why?

1. Make sure the workstation is on Win 98 SE (second edition).
2. You may need the PTTodayfix. There is a patch for a problem in IE 5.5. You can download the fix from www.peachtree.com/support. Select Product Upgrades and choose to download the update for PTToday or Batch 1 of Peachtree 2002 (version 9).
3. You can also remove Internet Explorer 5.5 and reinstall it from Peachtree's CD.

Why Windows 98 SE? Any particular reason or simply all the M$ fixes?
We're having issues with Complete Accounting 8.0.0.2 crashing during the backup process...just wondering if this could help us any.
