peachtree 05, access, cr9 string ?
I'm using CR ver 9 with peachtree complete 2005,I also have an access table. In my access table I have fields that contain some data results. The data differs in length of caracters, I have 13 prefixs and 2 suffixs just for examples sake.
Examples. "pro-99-0123" pro is the prefix
"p-99-0123" p-" is the prefix
"h-01-998765-abc" "h-" is the prefix "-abc" is the suffix
what I need to do is remove from those examples
the "pro-"
the "p-" or the "h-"
the "-abc"
I would like to use my access as an index to link to a peachtree table to create my sub report and need to link by my part numbers.
(ex. 99-0123)
no prefixs or suffixs. we use those for other btrieve and access files so they must stay in the field.
