I'm using PCA v8.0 on WIN98. I ran all of our W-2's to simply check things over before generating the actual W-2's. Problem is that there are 3 employees for which NO W-2 was printed. There is definitely data for these EE's so why no W-2? We're a religious organization and it just so happens that the 3 EE are indeed clergy - no taxes withheld. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I'm not sure what's happening here....I've seen this about three times now with different people. I'll see what I can find out and get back to you.

Diane -

Thanks for your help. I'm still searching for the answers myself but so far I've found nothing.

Please let me know if you find an answer.

Thanks!

Had the same problem last year, which we solved. Unfortunately, all I can remember is that it was something to do with the employee maintenace screen. Check the setup for the employees that are printing against the one that are not and see if there is some difference.

Check the SSN's. Peachtree will not print a W-2 for any employee that is either missing a SSN or has the same SSN as another employee. This could happen if you had the same employee listed under two employee id's.

FYI: Figured out the problem. The employees for which no W2 was generating were set up not to calculate any taxes whatsoever. I changed the setup to calculate Fed & State taxes and then set their allowances to 50. This way no fed/st taxes are calculated and their gross pay is included in the necessary boxes on the 941's and the W2's. Thanks to those who tried to help.
