Please Help! While trying to change the fiscal year my computer shut down. When I rebooted all my company data in peachtree was gone. This is Complete Acct. v 8. I tried to restore from both my tape backup and the backup on the hard drive and was given a module 4 and a module 11 error. It does act like it is restoring and then says it must convert data to the new version. That is when I get my error. The data was already v8 and it starts trying to convert from version 6. Any ideas?

Corrupted database.
There're several posts before on module 4 error. Try to do a search on "module" and check if those posts help.

When you reinstalled Peachtree did you also install any updates that had been on the original backup? I went crazy once trying to install Peachtree on a new computer and restore a backup. It refused to install the backup telling me that I needed an upgraded version to read the backup. Turned out I had installed an update from the website and then did the backup on the old system. When I installed the same update on the new system it took the restoration without an problem. Who knows -maybe it'll help. Let me know.
