I made a prior year company for 2000 as shown is Peachtree for Dummies. Closed out 2000 and I am now in the 13th period, so I assumed everything worked correctly. Peachtree shows the years I have open which are 2001 and 2002. Just out of curiousity I previewed a cash receipts journal from Jan. 1, 2000 - Jan. 31, 2000, and the information showed up. Why would the information still be there if I closed out the year? I didn't purge any data, but I don't think that matters.
Thanks for your help on the answers to the tax update, when I went to tell my boss what I needed to do, he said by the way this postcard from Peachtree came in the mail. The post card came about 2 weeks after I rec'd the update.
