Peachtree Version 6 help!!! :-( please

Hello everyone I have a huge problem and I was hoping I could get some advice here:

In order to open up 2005, we had to close out 2003 since Peachtree can only handle 24 months. Everything appeared to go smoothly. Now when I go into Accounts Receivable, there are balances from customers from 2001 that shouldn’t be there. They were not in my accounts receivable balances in 2004 and are now suddenly popping up in January 2005 and also when I now go back to 2004.

Wahts going on? Help please....

Sounds like data damage to me. Click on the data damaged banner above and have Shannon check it out. Alternately, you can see if the data will upgrade (make a seperate backup prior to installing 2005) and if it will, try using the data verification feature.

thank you for your response but what i meant when i said "to open up 2005" i was talking about the year 2005 NOT peachtree version 2005.....does this even make a difference though? is it still data corruption?? if so should i fix the data before i upgrade? (if i decide to upgrade to peachtree 2005)
