Has anyone used any Peachtree version 2002 or higher in a termainal services environment. Our firm was using 3 versions 2002, 2004, and 2005 in terminal services and then since friday we are not able to get mutliusers in the program anymore. We did updat the tax service but that was all that changed. I didn't set it up in terminal services and the tech guy that did it is no out of the country. We are running terminal services on windows server 2003. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

It is not supported by peachtree so your tech must have learned some tricks. You might search the posts for the word terminal and see if its been discussed. It is very unusual though...

Yeah starting with 2004 I have not found a way around having multiple people in with terminal services unless it was on seperate boxes. Peachtree is currently doing some testing with terminal services though so maybe future versions will be supported by it.

Tom is coorect about TS. However, I have PPAA 2005 running multi user in Windows 2003 Svr with out problems.
When you installed the tax service, did you change the server to install mode, before you installed it or did you install the tax service through windows Add/Remove programs feature?
What is the exact error message you are getting?

They just put in the CD with the tax update and it started the install. Were able to fix the terminal server problem with peachtree 2002 and 2004, but our computer guy said 2005 would not work in terminal services. I do believe we did have it working in terminal services prior to that however, we had no clients that used it then. I know Peachtree doesn't support it, but I think our other computer guy had found a way to make it run. But he is out of the country now.
