4 per page W-2s

The retirement information is not printing correctly on our 2001 4 per page W-2s. The 2001 W-2 format is the same as 2000. Any suggestions??? Anyone else having this problem???

I've generated the 2001 4-Up W-2's and noticed a problem with Insurance. Insurance should appear in Box 14 Other - but actually printed down in Box 17!! I went into the design of the form and moved the necessary boxes to Box 14 (alignment took awhile, but I eventually got it). I also ran 4-Up W-2's which contained 401K deductions. These appeared correctly in Box 12. Something seems funny - it works in some instances and doesn't work in others.

Actually the 4-Up W-2's for 2001 are not the same as those for 2000. You'll see that Boxes 12 & 14 are different. Last year the 401K went into Box 14 "Other" and this year it goes into Box 12.

we stumbled onto the same problem and found the answer after several hours with support.

My problem was all the box 12 info was printing on the left side of the form and box 12 is on the right side of the form.

Turns out that Peachtree may have planned it this way as all will work fine if you acquire a 4up form with the box 12 info on the left side rather than the right side of the form. I checked with several forms warehouses and all of them had the box 12 setup on the right side.

You can acquire the 4 up w2 form directly from peachtree that has the box 12 info on the left side which will work with their service update. (How convenient)

We just decided to fix the w-2 form setup in forms design rather than pay 200% more for the forms.
