Printer Woes…

Hello:

I am an ERP consultant who is trying to ‘handoff’ the current accounting system Peachtree v.10 DOS onto the new system. The issue is that I have upgraded the printers; subsequently, Peachtree will not print to the (new) laser correctly, and I do not know where to configure the printers in this program. Peachtree will have to run for some time during this transition… Admittedly I am not conversant in this program – I need help from an expert. I can however; follow instructions if someone will be so kind.

What printer and OS are we talking about? When you say it doesn't print correctly... what exactly is happenning?

The configurable options in Peachtree v10 for the printers are in the first screen when you open the program select modify configurantion types and then select yours. Select configure printers and you will see a screen with different settings there.

As with any DOS program... the settings are very limited. Lasers generally don't work well with DOS.

Try installing the HP Laser II in both the config and in the windows operating system.

It solves so many problems.
