In addition to 'Peachtree for Dummies' and 'Learn Peachtree Accounting', I am looking for a good training tutorial beyond what comes with Peachtree.

I see there is a CD tutorial available on this site, and have also found one by TeachUComp (www.teachucomp.com). There also are practice sets available (Financial Accounting Practice Set, Peachtree edition by Walter Antonioti)

Anyone have any advice on the quality and usefulness of these tutorials for a new peachtree user? (Complete v.7)

Thanks,

george

wEEELLL 7.0 IS PRETTY OLD. You might find descriptions in the tutorials for lots of features that you don't have. You may want one-on-one unless you want to upgrade. 12.0 is the current version. Also known as 2005. I have a video from 6.0.

Yes, we will likely upgrade in the not too distant future.

Assuming we upgrade, any thoughts on tutorials?

You can also purchase the workbook we use to teach peachtree. It is very user friendly and includes exercises.
