Convert V.6 to Premium 2005

Using Complete Accounting V.6, forgot to backup data by using backup of V.6 when convert to Premium Distribution 2005, there is backup before going into the process of convertion. After converted, the data is error. Transactions lost. I need to restore the old data with V.6. How can I do? backup ***.ptb can restore in V.6???

You can use winzip to open the ptb file.

I found another way. Use the backup *.ptb opened by new version until they ask for convert , say "no" and use that raw data to open by old version. It can do.

So you were able to read the ptb created by version 2005 with version 6? Do you mean you restored the backup and then used six to "open" the data? Clever trick!

Fortunately, that's our guess is right. It's same as use new version to abstract it.
