PAW 7.0 Form printing problem

I have upgraded to a new computer running Windows XP, and would like to install my old PAW 7.0. (Too old to learn new program!) The program and the update seemed to install fine on the new machine, but when I try to print an invoice, I get an error message "#21529 WARNING: there is no room to store those printer setup parameters in the form file." I have tried reinstalling but got the same results. I tried Restoring using the backup from my old computer, but that didn't work either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is a printer driver problem. Did you consider buying the new version at one of the office supply stores? You can often find it with a full rebate. Or I have a customer that mgiht want to sell his because he would like complete. So you should be able to find a pretty good price.

You probably have to find an old driver for your printer that will be compatible with PAW 7.0. Probably from a printer that was around in 1999-2000.

If you are refering to purchasing a new version of Peachtree, that is what I am trying to avoid. I have been using 7.0 for several years, it does everything I need it to do, and I am very comfortable using it. In the past, everytime I upgraded to a newer version of software, I had to make numerious call to tech. support to get the new program up and running. I'm not very good with software or accounting and don't do very well dealing with changes. If I have to upgrade, I will, but would like to explore all other options first.
I have contacted HP about the printer drivers and will see if they can offer any solutions. I really appreciate your input and your efforts.

If you do have to upgrade, you will still recognize peachtree and be able to use it. although a lot of features have been added, the ones you are used to are essentially the same. This forum is a good resource for conversion questions
