One of my clients has printed a trial W-2 for P/R year 2001. All of the information in the report is set up correctly, but the data that appears is for 2000. He caught this when he noticed that his W-2 looked familiar and compared it to last year's. His current fiscal years are FYE November 2001 & 2002. His current P/R years are also 2000 and 2001.
We tried several variations on this but still came up with the same problem.

When you go to the print w-2 setup screen there is a box that defaults to the first open year which in your case is 2000. Click on that year and you should be able to change it to 2001 which than should print your 2001 payroll data.

This is not the case. All parameters are set correctly, including setting the year to 2001. The wrong data still appears. It actually looks even worse than that now. It appears that I have unbalanced entries in the program. We will have to run integrity checks and repairs on payroll to fix. Hopefully, that may fix this problem.

Well, for anyone interested in the final outcome of this problem... I backed up the files and ran the Data Verification-- no luck.
Then I ran Integrity Check on the Employee files-- no luck. Finally I ran the Sync on the Employee/Journal. Hallelujah! 2001 data appeared and year-to-date amounts on 2002 checks were corrected also.
