Payroll posted to wrong fiscal period

I have a customer that ran a May payroll today and failed to change the fiscal period from April to May. Is there an easy way to get the journal entry from April to May other than restoring a backup and rerunning the payroll? There are around 18 employees on the payroll.

Open each payroll check, change the date and resave.
