posting & deleting txns

I've still experimenting with the trial version, haven't installed the premium version yet. When I post a transaction such as a Journal entry, I can see it in the General ledger, but then I can delete it right from the General Ledger. I tried it using Real time and batch. Is this the way it works? I have to have a system that you cannot just delete transactions. My current program MAS90, once you post a txn, its there for good and you had to post another entry to adjust it?

Any help or suggestions?

You can use the maintain users part of peachtree to restrict certain access. Otherwise Peachtree is designed to allow the flexibility to delete transactions. You may need a local consultant or a support plan from this forum to assist you with the settings in maintain users.
