Hi all,
Newbie to Peachtree and lost on something. We are using Complete Accounting 2005 Multi- user with 5 users. Program is loaded on each machine with data kept on server. Problem is with generating the same reports. If user A makes a nice customized report and prints it from his machine, it seems the only way to regenerate the same report is from that machine.
I "assume" I'm missing something here. I want to copy/paste or export/import these report settings to another (or all) machines but can't seem to figure out how.

Any and all help would be apprecitated.

It's been a long time since we've done this. But if I remember correctly, we put our custom reports in the same directory as the data files - i.e. server. Don't put them in the folder with each company's data; just in the folder that has all of the company folders. You may be able to look and see standard reports already there.

Are you talking about reports or forms? Reports are stored as part of the company file and should be automatically accessible by all users.

Forms are stored in separate .frm files in the forms folder. To see the file name and location right click on the form and choose "save as". You'll see the path and file name. The .frm file can be stored on the server so that all can access it.

I am having a similar problem. I have 5 users, but only 3 of them can see the custom forms we made. The other 2 only get a list of the standards forms. For example we made a special check that for our new laser printed checks. Only 3 of the users can see the new form when they go to print the check

Datapath is not set properly on the machines that cannot see the reports/forms. Do a search in the archives for "datapath" and you should find instructions on how to correct this.
