Printing of Packing Lists EXTREMELY SLOW

Ever since upgrading to 8.0, it takes 3-8 minutes from the time I hit print till the printer actually receives the data & starts to print. I've checked & optimized all Operating & Networking settings, but still have the slow response time. The main issue is that when anyone on the network does this function, it locks out everyone else from Peachtree totally, until the spooling is finished & the printer starts printing.
NOTE: This never happened in my earlier release AND I have purged data, so it doesn't appear that my data files are any larger than they were on earlier versions.

Hi,

Are you configuring a Network or a Local Printer ??

If its local you could try to enable printing directly to the printer. Network printer are different.

To help you further I need to know the NOS and OS that you are using, the printer server model and the Printer model (and any other relevant issue).
