Job Ledger Report

I'm creating a report and this is what report I'm using:

>Job Reports >Job Ledger

My problem is time tickets for the job I'm doing a report on aren't coming in to the Job Ledger. It is my understanding that all transactions for the particular job I do a search on should pull into the report, but most importantly time tickets don't. Is this common knowledge or is there something I'm missing.

Time tickets don't hit the job ledger until they are run through payroll.
