I would like to save my invoice before I am finished with it, but if I save it, it kicks me to a new invoice. Also, when I go to print it it also kicks me out but I would like to stay in it cuz I need to print a packaging slip before I am done.
Is there anyway to stay in the invoice, saving at times as you are inputing, and printing the invoice and packaging slip until completely finished with it?
Thanks.

If you are entering and invoice and the immediately printing it, PT will post the invoice after printing, thereby closing up the transaction. The only way to do what you want is to do batch printing method. That is...to print the invoice from the Reports menu. When you print from the Reports menu, PT asks if the invoices printed OK and is it OK to assign the numbers. So what you do is print the invoices, then tell PT "No" not to assign the numbers then print them again, using the Packing Slip as the form. Kind of tedious...but the only way.

Peachtree is designed to close the invoice when you save it, so there's no way to save and remain in the invoice. As Diane described, you can streamline the printing process somewhat, but if you want to save periodically, you'll have to open the invoice again after each save.
